Financial Operations Manager

The Financial Operations Manager plays a vital role in driving the finance and accounting department forward. This position involves overseeing Management Accounting functions, including cost accounting, to support risk assessment, budgeting, and service cost planning, guiding strategic decision-making.

This role includes conducting analyses to forecast, budget, and assess performance plans, presenting findings to Departmental and Division Heads to aid operational decisions. Additional responsibilities include assisting the Finance Head with delegated tasks such as preparing financial and performance reports, providing budget updates to departments, and reviewing internal controls to maintain departmental stability when the Finance Head is unavailable.

The primary focus of revenue management is to maximize revenue and profit opportunities. The Financial Operations Manager compiles and analyzes data to inform pricing and profitability decisions and gathers competitive business data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and directing the activities of the finance and accounting department.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial performance reports for Execom and Department Heads.
  • Supervise day-to-day revenue management operations, including client costing, CE creation and uploading, and other transactions.
  • Provide insights to support long-term and short-term decision-making.
  • Prepare financial data and generate weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
  • Coordinate with internal clients to meet deadlines.
  • Analyze discrepancies in financial reports and implement resolutions.
  • Assist Department Heads and DBMs in budget preparation and expense management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Admin and Finance teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 1-2 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, detail-oriented, with good analytical skills.
