About the Role

The Payroll Team Lead is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payment processing for all employees. This position requires a strong understanding of payroll regulations, laws, and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Data Collection and Processing: Collect, verify, and process payroll data, including employee hours worked, benefits, and other relevant information;
  2. Payroll Processing: Prepare and review payroll reports, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures;
  3. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee data, including personnel files, benefit enrollment, and tax-related documents;
  4. Communication: Liaise with employees, management, and external stakeholders regarding payroll-related matters;
  5. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve payroll-related issues in a timely and efficient manner;
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business, or related field;
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in payroll leadership, with expertise in timekeeping/workforce management & payroll inputs;
  • SAP and SuccessFactors knowledge an asset;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
  • Detailed-oriented and highly analytical;
