Electrical Estimator Position

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately performing takeoffs and costing for projects involving electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed takeoffs and cost estimates using specialized software such as Planswift or Bluebeam.
  • Review and interpret architectural and electrical drawings, including reflected ceiling plans, to identify and quantify lighting fixtures and controls.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed reports using Microsoft Excel, summarizing project costs and estimates.
  • Collaborate with the project team to verify and refine estimates, ensuring a high level of precision and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in specialized software such as Planswift or Bluebeam.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including its applications in estimating and reporting.
  • Background in architectural and electrical projects, with a focus on electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans.
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
