We are seeking a skilled Visual Designer II to join our team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the visual identity of our products, working collaboratively with senior designers and other business teams.

He/ she will suggest new design patterns but primarily work within pre-existing frameworks. The Visual Designer II will be working with the global marketing team, focusing on creating visual assets for the global .com website, including product animations, graphics, marketing page designs, icons, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Understand how UI design impacts the overall user experience.
  • Familiar with customer frameworks such as Jobs To Be Done, personas, and journey maps.
  • Keep up-to-date on news/incidents and understand what is happening in the market and with competitors.
  • Ask the right questions to explore the problem.
  • Iterate and test solutions to check if it solves the problem.
  • Consider the problem from multiple angles.
  • Independently identify different creative solutions.
  • Collect feedback from users, other designers, and stakeholders.
  • Follow a user-centred visual design process.
  • Creates original visual design assets.
  • Work with UX Researcher to understand user needs.
  • Work with UX Designer to define structure and layout of the product.
  • Work with existing design patterns and style guides, occasionally introducing new patterns.
  • Iterate work based on testing and data analysis.
  • Regularly test design work with users in partnership with UX Research team.
  • Explore data from analytics packages, customer insight or other sources to understand context of design work.
  • Proactively use data to establish key metrics for projects.
Requirements
  • At least 5-7 years of visual design experience specifically with corporate and marketing web design.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Proficient in Figma and other designing tools.
  • Intermediate level in Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Basic understanding of SharePoint site.
  • Knowledge in sprint planning is advantageous.
  • Certification related to the role is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Practices self-development, solves problems, analyzes issues, and innovates.
  • Communicates powerfully and prolifically, promotes collaboration and teamwork, and builds relationships.
