Job Summary:

This role is responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and vehicles to ensure efficient operation and prolong their lifespan. The incumbent will perform regular inspections, conduct troubleshooting activities, and make adjustments as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery, particularly generator sets.">
  • Conduct problem-solving activities to identify causes and corrective measures for mechanical variances.">
  • Inspect machinery and equipment operating parameters regularly and initiate corrective measures on any abnormalities.">
  • Schedule lubrication works on plant equipment and machinery.">
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and prepare a list of required parts to be ordered.">
  • Attend to emergency service requests and night calls as needed.">
  • Perform housekeeping tasks in compliance with 5S standards.">
  • Assist in supervising contractors during contracted works to ensure quality workmanship and specifications.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in mechanical or engineering disciplines, with at least 3 years of experience in diesel engine or generator maintenance. You should also possess critical skills such as trouble-shooting and knowledge of plant technology.
