Job Description:

The Store Cashier is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and processing transactions efficiently and accurately.


  • Perform basic arithmetic operations to collect payments and make change.
  • Operate cash registers, barcode scanners, scales, and credit card/debit card terminals.
  • Manage the cash register and generate reports for sales and returns.
  • Process payments, ensure accurate prices and quantities, and provide receipts to customers.
  • Handle exchanges and refunds promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain a secure cash drawer.
  • Keep the checkout area organized and clean.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, prior experience with cash handling, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate should be trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
