Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining our technological solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, Linux System Administration and Bash scripting, as well as strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP and distributed networks.

You will also have experience with cloud infrastructure management using Terraform and Kubernetes, as well as hands-on experience with Docker and the open-source monitoring stack of Grafana.

In addition to technical skills, we value strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues from around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and implementation of technological solutions.
  • Setup of CI/CD pipeline for production deploys.
  • Development and improvement of monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Creation and maintenance of 'infrastructure as code' configurations.
  • Implementation of methodologies and procedures to ensure system resilience.
  • Communication across departments.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience, ideally with 1+ Associate level certification in AWS.
  • Work experience in infrastructure, database and network administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux System Administration & Bash scripting.
  • Proven experience with AWS Well-Architected Framework and AWS Serverless technologies.
  • Familiarity with web services, APIs and RESTful architecture.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP and distributed networks.
  • Managing Cloud Infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Familiarity with the open-source monitoring stack of Grafana.
  • Development background – experience with Python, NodeJS, Nginx Configuration.
  • Strong analytical / problem solving skills.
