Job Title: Data Engineer and Analyst

We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in data engineering and analytics to help us scale while maintaining correct and complete data. The candidate will work with internal teams to solve their data needs. This role is responsible for developing and designing various reports, dashboards, and creative analytical solutions. The analyst will also work closely with department leaders to enhance everyday business processes.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 4 years of related experience is required, along with in-depth knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies. In-depth knowledge of emerging technologies and new architectural concepts and principles is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop technology-enabled recommendations to address gaps within a single business process.
  • Proactively identify potential impact on business strategy and recommend solutions as necessary.
  • Document existing processes, organizational structures, architectures, and external systems.
  • Consult on appropriate tools to prepare deliverables and participate in tool development and methodology adaptation.
  • Manage peer-to-peer relationships with colleagues, vendors, and external contractors, including offshore functions.
  • Assist in developing and executing cut-over plans for simple processes.
  • Resolve issues and raise defects to the appropriate level during post-implementation support.
  • Transition knowledge sharing and ownership to other resources or teams for key deliverables and business processes across a module.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in a technical or business discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 years of related experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of emerging technologies and new architectural concepts and principles.
  • Knowledgeable in data engineering languages and tools and proficient in new and emerging technologies.
  • Highly developed negotiation, consensus-building, and influencing skills, facilitation, and adaptability to respond to change quickly.
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills and strong presentation skills.

Physical Requirements:

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset.
