Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and testing of innovative software solutions.

This role requires a strong understanding of software development principles, testing methodologies, and Agile development practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test frameworks, executing complex test scenarios, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, proficiency in at least one programming language, and experience working in Agile development environments. Additionally, they will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • At least 2+ years of professional software testing experience with proficiency in at least one programming language (JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of web application testing, including manual, blackbox, and exploratory testing techniques
  • Demonstrated proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar technologies
  • Ability to select and apply appropriate testing methodologies based on project requirements and context
  • Thorough understanding of Agile methodologies, including experience working in Scrum/Kanban teams
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and deliver meticulously executed test plans
  • Experience with test case management software and defect tracking systems like Jira and aha
  • Advanced API testing experience including contract testing and service virtualization
  • Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6)
  • CI/CD experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
  • Experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks and CI/CD integration
  • Experience facilitating quality-focused discussions in Agile ceremonies
  • Experience with test data management and mock service implementation
  • Experience mentoring junior team members on testing practices
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and testing cloud-based applications
