Job Opportunity: Senior Marketing Manager

We are seeking an experienced marketing professional to lead our marketing efforts and elevate our brand presence in the hospitality industry.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy tailored to multiple hotel properties, including proposed approaches to achieve business goals.
  • Design and manage marketing campaigns across digital, print, and traditional channels to increase brand awareness and bookings.
  • Optimize online presence by overseeing website content/design, SEO, and social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with leadership to prepare estimated budgets and cost proposals for strategy implementation.
  • Work closely with sales to create promotional offers/packages that drive occupancy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies, online booking platforms, and strategic partners.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and guest feedback to refine marketing and sales approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead marketing efforts from the ground up—building strategies, driving campaigns, and implementing initiatives.
  • Experience in sales and deep understanding of hospitality marketing is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel booking platforms, digital marketing, and brand positioning is required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in marketing within the hospitality or hotel industry.
  • A proven track record in both strategic planning and hands-on execution.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to work independently and make informed decisions with minimal supervision.

This is a remote role set up as an independent contractor engagement. The ideal candidate will be available for meetings and collaboration during core Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) business hours.
