Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Spearhead original art creation and lead their team to produce high-quality, visually appealing designs consistent with the company's artistic vision.
  • Analyze site data to identify content gaps and areas of focus for art creation, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Develop a content calendar to ensure timely design posting for client seasonal events, fostering strong relationships with clients.
  • Set clear goals around quantity and quality of original artwork, driving business growth through creative excellence.
Management Duties

The chosen candidate will:

  • Effectively manage the production of their team to meet daily quantity and quality goals, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Conduct weekly check-ins with direct reports to provide guidance, feedback, and support.
  • Evaluate the quality of direct reports' work, offering constructive feedback to enhance overall performance.
  • Mentor future management talent to build a strong leadership pipeline as the team grows.
Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • At least 5 years of experience in graphic design, graphics for production, art direction, or a related creative field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of significant management experience, including direct management of output and responsible for the quality of their work, or leading a team of at least 5 individual contributors with diverse functions.
  • 3+ years of experience serving the US or European market, with a deep understanding of local trends and consumer preferences.
  • Proficiency in data analysis (Excel or Google Sheets) and strategic thinking, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Complete fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • A detail-oriented and meticulous approach to work, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Self-motivation and enthusiasm for working on various projects, adapting to changing priorities.
