About the Role:

As a Hotel Guest Experience Manager at Hotel Okura Manila, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests from the moment they arrive. Your goal will be to create a memorable and enjoyable experience for every guest, ensuring that they feel valued and cared for throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
  2. Manage online and phone reservations, ensuring seamless communication with guests and colleagues
  3. Inform guests about payment methods and verify credit card data securely, reducing the risk of errors or disputes
  4. Register guests and collect necessary information, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  5. Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing disruptions
  6. Provide detailed information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities to guests, addressing their queries and concerns promptly
  7. Address client complaints professionally and promptly, resolving issues to the satisfaction of both the guest and the hotel
  8. Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished, meeting high standards of quality and cleanliness
  9. Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, enhancing their overall experience
  10. Upsell additional facilities and services when appropriate, increasing revenue and promoting the hotel's offerings
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of bookings and payments, supporting informed decision-making and operational efficiency

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar customer-focused environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable)
