Drafter Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Drafter Specialist to support our engineering and manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and revising detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, assemblies, and part models based on engineering specifications and design concepts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in CAD, Drafting, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in roles requiring SolidWorks for 2D and 3D modeling
  • High proficiency in 2D and 3D solid modeling using SolidWorks, including assemblies, part modeling, and drawing generation
  • Excellent file management and project organization skills, with the ability to maintain clear and systematic documentation
  • Prior experience with scaffolding, guard railing systems, or similar mechanical structures is a plus
  • Familiarity with GD&T and industry standards such as ASME Y14.5
