Role and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will conduct research and prepare reports on gathered materials, including recommendations for interpretative opinions. They will also prepare draft opinions containing statements of facts, legal problems, issues, discussions of applicable laws, and conclusions/opinions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform legal work involving specific and limited fields/areas of law, especially in relation to Public-Private-Partnerships (PPPs).
  • Search for and read gathered materials and prepare reports on research, recommendation on interpretative opinion.
  • Prepare draft of opinions containing a statement of facts involved, legal problems, issues, discussions of applicable laws, jurisprudence on the matter and the conclusion/opinion.
  • Provide administrative legal support to Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office.
  • Evaluate, review and perform legal research and due diligence and make the necessary recommended action and/or draft required document.
  • Issue legal opinions on questions of law.
  • Review and draft contracts and other legal documents and correspondence.
  • Attend meetings with implementing agencies and other stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Laws degree is essential.
  • At least one year of relevant experience is required, preferably in PPPs.
  • Four hours of relevant training are necessary.
