Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Front End WordPress Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing the user interface of our website using WordPress, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.

As a seasoned developer, you will have a deep understanding of UI/UX design principles and will be able to turn wireframes and mock-ups into reusable code. You will also be responsible for building high-quality UI components with scalability in mind, integrating plugins such as WooCommerce, and implementing new features on our WordPress website.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop the user interface of our website using WordPress, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Turn wireframes and mock-ups into reusable code
  • Build high-quality UI components with scalability in mind
  • Integrate plugins such as WooCommerce
  • Implement new features on our WordPress website

Requirements:

  • 4+ years experience developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Worked on at least 5 websites in the past, links to sample works or portfolio requested
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, GSAP, and Bootstrap
  • Proficient with HTML5, including semantic HTML5 elements, microformats, and WAI-ARIA
  • Familiar with CSS preprocessors such as SASS, Less, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS
  • Expert in ACF and Gutenberg
  • Basic proficiency in Google Analytics and Tag Manager
  • Working knowledge of SEO principles
  • Experience with build tools such as Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack
  • Basic proficiency with Figma
  • Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing
  • Experience with responsive web design
  • Familiar with W3C and W3GAC html standards
  • Ability to work in US Pacific business hours (8am-5pm PST which corresponds to 12am-9am PH time, if not DST)
