Senior Fund Accountant Job Description

As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial data and ensuring the accuracy of investor reports.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze fund performance on a monthly basis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop knowledge of accounting standards relevant to investment management.
  • Review and process all investor movements to ensure compliance with established procedures and controls.
  • Accurately book investor activity into technology systems.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of industry standards and changes in regulation that affect investor reporting/compliance.
  • Reconcile cash accounts to statements identifying and resolving all differences.
  • Perform daily and monthly auditing of work processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting required.
  • 5-10 years experience in Fund Accounting, preferably with a Hedge Fund Administration.
