Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Fund Accountant with 5-10 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably with hedge fund administration. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting and a strong understanding of securities including equities, bonds, swaps, options, FX, mortgages, financing, and futures.

  • Understand client strategies and analyze fund performance monthly, following market trends.
  • Gain knowledge of accounting standards relevant to Investment Management.
  • Review and process investor movements to ensure compliance with procedures, SLAs, and client documents.
  • Accurately record investor activity and ensure compliance with client formation documents.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory changes affecting reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze fund performance and understand client strategies.
  • Develop an understanding of accounting standards relevant to Investment Management.
  • Review and process investor movements.
  • Ensure accurate recording of investor activity.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulatory changes.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Fund Accounting, preferably with hedge fund administration.
