Fiber Optics Installation Specialist

As a Fiber Optics Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for splicing fiber optic cables in indoor and outdoor settings, reading, creating, and maintaining splicing schematics and diagrams, taking and maintaining accurate splicing and field notes, and ensuring installs are done in a timely professional manner according to Company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Splice fiber optic cables in various environments
  • Develop and maintain splicing schematics and diagrams
  • Record and update splicing and field notes accurately
  • Ensure all installations meet high professional standards
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient with OTDR, Power Meter, VFL, and insertion loss testing
  • Strong documentation skills and proficiency in Google Suites or MS Office
  • Good command of written and verbal English
  • Familiarity with fiber fusion splicing and similar activities
  • Prior experience on GPON networks is advantageous
  • International experience and CFOT/CPCT Training are preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
