We are seeking a skilled Land Development Surveyor to join our team at Likas Yaman Service Corporation. As a key member of our surveying department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our land development projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys to measure land contours, boundaries, and elevation changes, utilizing advanced survey equipment such as Total Stations, GPS, and level instruments.
- Analyze survey data to prepare maps and technical drawings for development planning, applying strong knowledge of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and urban planners to determine the most effective layout for the development project, considering local zoning laws and property rights.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including zoning, environmental, and safety requirements, throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare topographic, boundary, and construction surveys, providing detailed reports and recommendations for any issues encountered during the survey process.
- Stay updated on the latest surveying technologies and software, improving data collection and analysis efficiency, and communicate effectively with clients, developers, and project stakeholders to provide progress updates and address concerns related to land development surveys.
Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience in land surveying or land development projects (typically 2–5 years), with proficiency in surveying instruments (e.g., Total Stations, GPS systems, digital levels) and strong communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.
- Knowledge of Regulations: Understanding of land development laws, zoning regulations, environmental laws, and construction processes, and Attention to Detail: Ability to work accurately and pay close attention to details.
Working Conditions:
- Fieldwork in various weather conditions and terrains, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
- May involve long hours, especially during project deadlines, necessitating strong organizational and time management skills.
- Work may involve both indoor office settings (for analysis, mapping, and report preparation) and outdoor locations (for data collection and site surveys), requiring versatility and comfort in different environments.
Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
