
Senior Financial Clerk

This role focuses on supporting the smooth operation of our financial processes. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable with accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintaining up-to-date financial records and ensuring proper documentation of transactions.
- Preparing regular financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for senior management.
- Processing invoices, payments, and receipts according to established company policies.
- Ensuring accurate payroll processing, including calculation of wages, superannuation, and entitlements.
- Maintaining payroll records and ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
- Supporting employee reimbursements and benefits processing.
- Providing initial point of contact for internal teams regarding financial matters.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in data entry, administration, and general accounting preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and any accounting software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with secure financial record systems and knowledge of cyber security protocols.
- A diploma in Bookkeeping, Business Administration, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately enter high volumes of data.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
