Financial Operations Assistant

This role focuses on supporting the smooth operation of our financial processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing accounts payable and receivable with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintaining up-to-date financial records and ensuring proper documentation of transactions.
  • Preparing regular financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for senior management.
  • Processing invoices, payments, and receipts according to established company policies.
  • Ensuring accurate payroll processing, including calculation of wages, superannuation, and entitlements.
  • Maintaining payroll records and ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
  • Supporting employee reimbursements and benefits processing.
  • Providing initial point of contact for internal teams regarding financial matters.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in data entry, administration, and general accounting preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and any accounting software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with secure financial record systems and knowledge of cyber security protocols.
  • A diploma in Bookkeeping, Business Administration, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately enter high volumes of data.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
