We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Compliance and Onboarding Specialist to oversee the onboarding process for contingent healthcare workers and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a background in healthcare compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with recruiters to facilitate the onboarding process for contingent workers, ensuring compliance with all necessary procedures.
  • Evaluate the educational background, training, licensure, and certifications of healthcare providers to verify adherence to requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of healthcare providers' credentials, including renewal and expiration dates.
  • Conduct thorough background checks, including criminal history and reference checks, to ensure the credibility of healthcare providers.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies, such as the Joint Commission, and ensure healthcare providers stay informed of regulatory changes.
  • Facilitate ongoing education and training for healthcare providers to maintain their skills and knowledge.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for workers on assignment, directing them to appropriate representatives for payroll, benefits, and other issues.
  • Assist in managing expiring credentials and yearly compliance renewals for workers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook; familiarity with VMS tools like Beeline or Fieldglass is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in healthcare compliance is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to work according to US time zones.
  • Working knowledge of labor and employment laws is a beneficial asset.
