Job Description:

As the IT Director for the retail and FMCG industries, you will play a crucial role in driving our technological initiatives to enhance our operations, improve customer experiences, and maintain our competitive edge in the market. You will lead a dynamic team of IT professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align technology strategies with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Provide visionary leadership in identifying and leveraging emerging technologies to gain a competitive advantage.

Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Delegate tasks effectively, prioritize projects, and ensure timely delivery of IT solutions.

Technology Infrastructure:

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and systems, to support business operations.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of IT systems and data, adhering to industry best practices and compliance requirements.

Application Development and Integration:

• Drive the development and integration of software applications tailored to meet the unique needs of the retail and FMCG industries.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to evaluate, select, and deploy software solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experiences.

Data Management and Analytics:

• Define data management strategies and implement analytics solutions to derive actionable insights for informed decision-making.
• Champion data governance practices to ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance with regulatory standards.

IT Governance and Compliance:

• Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, department heads, and external partners.
• Collaborate closely with business units to understand their technology needs and align IT initiatives with strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field
• Proven experience 10 years in IT leadership roles within the retail and FMCG industries.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, supply chain management, and consumer trends.
• Expertise in IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, and software development methodologies.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering IT projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
