Social Media Assistant

Position Description:
OX AU is looking for a creative and strategic social media assistant to work in our marketing department. They are responsible for brainstorming campaigns, creating social media posts, and analyzing analytics.
This is a hands-on role and OX requires someone who is keen to get 'stuck in', work with the existing Marketing team, take the best of what we currently do, and you must have excellent time management skills. A good social media assistant is eager to keep abreast of industry innovations and new software.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation:
· Create compelling and visually appealing content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
· Develop a content calendar to ensure a consistent and engaging online presence.
2. Community Engagement:
· Monitor social media channels for brand mentions and engage with the audience in a timely and positive manner.
· Foster community growth by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries effectively.
3. Social Media Campaigns:
· Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns to promote brand awareness, product launches, and special events.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies.
4. Analytics and Reporting:
· Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics using tools like Facebook Insights and Google Analytics.
· Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for continuous improvement.
5. Trend Monitoring:
· Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices.
· Propose innovative ideas to keep the brand's social media presence fresh and relevant.
Skills and Experience:
· Proven experience in managing social media platforms for business or personal projects.
· Proficient in content creation tools, graphic design, and video editing.
· Strong understanding of social media analytics and the ability to derive insights for strategy improvement.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
· Creative mindset with a passion for digital marketing and community building.
· Familiarity with social media advertising is a plus.
· People oriented and results driven.
· Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
· Effective relationship building, networking and influencing skills.
· Excellent communications skills – written, verbal and interpersonal - with an ability to tailor communication style to diverse audiences.
· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to prioritise tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
· Ability to identify, analyse and develop effective solutions to problems.
· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
*The candidate must be located in the Philippines.
*Work schedule: AU office hours (40 hours, 5 days a week)
