The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Senior Software Support Engineer to provide technical leadership in supporting Java/web applications within an AWS infrastructure. You'll play a crucial role in optimizing application performance and ensuring smooth software operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver expert-level support for Java/web applications in an AWS environment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to enhance application performance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and escalate critical issues as needed.
  • Maintain seamless interaction with external vendors and operational processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in tools and processes for peak efficiency.
About You:

  • Experience: 8+ years in client-facing application support roles.
  • Cloud Savvy: Proficient with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Technical Expertise: Strong in Linux/Unix Administration and familiar with various UNIX/Linux commands.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent at both written and verbal communication.
  • Flexibility and Availability: Ready to work in a 24x7 support environment.

  • Familiarity with systems like Tomcat, Nginx, Zookeeper, or MongoDB.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages and FIX Applications.
