AP/AR Specialist

Job DescriptionAbout the Client:

Arise Capital specializes in the acquisition, renovation, stabilization, and disposition of value-add apartment communities. Theycreate value for investors through capital growth and capital preservation.
Responsibilities:

  • Track and import all receivables and payables for the properties and the company into Appfolio
  • Data entry for property and lease implementation into the system
  • Run weekly payable runs to pay any vendor invoices
  • Run bank reconciliations monthly
  • Run monthly financials with the director of finance (provide commentary on fluxes month over month activity)


Requirements
  • 3+ yrs experience payables and receivables experience
  • Knowledge/experience inQuickbooks or any ERP/Accounting software
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Timesheets, Microsoft
  • Outlook and database management programs in order to maintain records of information
  • and develop and provide information for Company's use
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have Fiber Optic internet with at least 25 Mbps bandwidth
  • Must have a backup desktop or laptop with the latest OS
  • Must be able to work from 12AM-9AM

Good to Have:
  • Appfolio or any Property Management Tool
  • Real Estate and Property Management industry background
  • US Accounting experience --- open to entertaining candidates with just local experience
