Primary Function:

Overall in charge of IT projects, operations and support provision for ADPH while maintaining alignment with GO&T IT and Manufacturing Operations strategy. Manages a diverse team of skilled IT professionals responsible for MES, Systems Development, Systems and Production support, IT infrastructure. Provides strategic leadership on projects, goals, priorities, schedules, performance, processes, as well as guidance on systems configuration, design, architecture, implementation, testing, roll-out and post-implementation support.

Competency Level:

  • Graduate of bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other Engineering-related field.
  • Master's Degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 15 years of work experience in the electronics or semiconductor industry
  • Minimum of 10 years leadership experience with a team performing systems analysis, development, and support.
  • Must have experience working on major multi-man-month projects involving cross-functional teams involving MES, automation, and supporting applications.
  • Has experienced managing MES, application systems, support and infrastructure team members in other countries or locations.
  • PMI certification is an advantage.
  • ITIL V3 certification is an advantage.
  • Project management skills and familiarity with different project management concepts and tools.
  • Knowledgeable on and has hands-on experience on software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to motivate internal and external teams.
  • Working experience on semiconductor back-end processes (Probe, Assembly, Final Test and Packaging) and engineering tools and methodologies applied to Test, e.g., SPC, SYL/SBL, PAT, etc.
  • Able to perform well in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Build and maintain cooperative working relationships.
  • Strong understanding of industry-standard technical practices and emerging technologies..

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and support a strategy for integrated and automated systems for ADPH that is aligned with the direction set by the IT and Manufacturing teams.
  • Manage ADPH IT team resource allocation on projects prioritized by Back-End Manufacturing and GO&T IT.
  • Be the single point of contact for the site GM and leadership team on all IT-related needs for the site.
  • Manage complex custom application development, deployment, and support for applications that range from legacy to state-of-the-art.
  • Ensure software development processes are being followed, such as compliance to key project phase deliverables and IT General Controls.
  • Manage project plans (or co-manage with project manager) for major projects.
  • Oversee the deployment of new applications and enhancements across the Back-End Manufacturing organization.
  • Establish working relationships with other IT and Manufacturing organizations to effectively understand business and technology requirements and execute on those needs.
  • Provide guidance and direction through leadership, mentoring, and career planning support to the ADPH IT team.
  • Ensure that the company's commitment on environmental management, health and safety is observed and performed.
  • Be aware of the company's quality and environmental policies.
