About the Opportunity:
NeksJob is working with a leading client that delivers enterprise-level technology and business solutions. We are seeking an Informix Oracle Database Operations Developer to design, optimize, and maintain robust database operations, ensuring seamless application performance and data integrity across critical systems.

The Work:
As a Database Operations Developer, you’ll be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing database solutions on Informix and Oracle databases. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to initiatives aimed at maintaining optimal database performance and application availability.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), leading technical initiatives and mentoring team members.
- Drive team-level decision-making, ensuring project deliverables are met.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to address cross-team challenges.
- Design, develop, and optimize database solutions according to business and application requirements.
- Conduct database administration, performance tuning, and optimization tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance and integrity issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze technical and business requirements.
- Conduct code reviews, optimize database performance, and provide actionable feedback to peers.
- Stay current with database trends, tools, and technologies.

What You’ll Need:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Oracle Database Operations.
- Solid understanding of database concepts, SQL, and PL/SQL programming.
- Experience in database administration, maintenance, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of Oracle tools and utilities.
- Familiarity with data modeling, database design principles, and best practices.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving database issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Operations.
- This role is based in Manila.
