WORK LOCATION: Work from home but must be available for meetings in Pasig/Makati/BGC area when needed. Must be willing to accept Face-to-Face work when needed as well.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for motivated and passionate senior 3D artist experts to join our team As an experienced 3D artist, you have the determination to push boundaries and create amazing models, skeletal rigs, and animations. You enjoy working as part of a team, but have a proactive approach with a hunger to take responsibility on an individual level.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As 3D Modeler:
• Create high-quality organic and hard-surface 3D models based on direction or reference materials.
• Collaborate with Art Directors and team to finalize textured assets and ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure models meet technical requirements for 3d model, rigging and animation, including clean topology, proper UV malling and polygonal subdivisions.

3D Rigger:
• Build high-quality skeletal rigs for 3D characters and models.
• Collaborate with Art Director and Animators to finalize rigs and apply feedback promptly.
• Troubleshoot rig-related issues, including bugs, mesh intersections, and unnatural movement.
• Ensure rigs meet technical requirements for animation and revise as needed to maintain quality.

3D Animator:
• Collaborate with Art Director to deliver polished animations and apply feedback quickly.
• Animate characters and props using keyframe techniques over automated tools.
• Work with Tech Art to ensure animations are technically sound and revise as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 10 years of practical experience in animation, modeling, and rigging for interactive media or video games (or equivalent portfolio).
• Expert in Maya’s animation and rigging toolsets
• Possess good understanding of FK/IK systems (switching and stretchiness), foot roll, pivot, and tilt setups, and their controllers
• Solid grasp of animation principles (timing, staging, squash/stretch, etc.) applied in game development.
• Skilled in following references to create accurate models with clean topology, efficient UV layout, and texturing.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills; proactive, organized, and able to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and drive to continually raise 3D quality.

PLUSES:
• Familiarity with Unity’s 3D capabilities and game development pipelines
• MEL scripting for custom animation workflows
• Experience with ZBrush and other modeling tools (e.g., Blender, C4D)
• Background in traditional animation (a plus, not required)
• Passion for video games and game creation
• A shipped title that includes your work
