
Food Quality Assurance Specialist

The Food Quality Assurance Specialist (Licensed Food Technologist) ensures the effective implementation and monitoring of quality assurance programs and systems, including SCPs/SSOPs, GMP, SOP, HACCP, and others. They oversee QA communications, documentation, and ensure the integrity and security of all records.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and audit quality assurance systems (SCPs/SSOPs, GMP, HACCP).
Design and manage sensory procedures and training, analyzing results using statistical methods.
Handle non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Manage regulatory licenses, permits, and certifications related to food safety.
Lead translation runs and provide reports for experimental-to-commercial production transitions.
Oversee Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage material costs in Oracle R12.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to enhance QA programs, recommend upgrades, and develop SOPs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
Preferably licensed Chemist, Chemical Technician, or Chemical Engineer.
At least 2 years of experience in Food Quality Assurance, R&D, or Manufacturing.
Knowledge of Food Technology, GMP, GWP, GLP, HACCP, and ISO systems.
Experience in bakery and meat processing is a plus.
Strong communication skills and leadership potential.
Willing to be assigned in Mandaue City, Cebu
