MedVA is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Virtual Admin Assistant to join our team. This position is an onsite role, based at our MedVA office in Robinsons, Zeta Tower. Quezon City. As a Medical Virtual Admin Assistant at MedVA, you will provide administrative support to medical professionals, ensuring smooth operations and efficient workflows.

You will play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive the medications they need in a timely manner

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Verifying insurance coverage.
Submitting prior authorization requests.
Documenting patient information and communicating with all parties involved in the authorization process.
Coordinating with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and pharmacies to obtain the necessary authorizations for patients' prescriptions.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Admin Assistant or in a similar role
Minimum of 1 year experience in prescription prior authorization or a related US healthcare administrative role
Experience with insurance verification and claims processing
Proficient in using medical software, specifically EPIC
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, insurance terminology, and prescription medication processes
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience with customer service and patient interaction
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
