IT Procurement Associate

Duties and responsibilities:

· Source and procure IT hardware, software, and services to support business operations.

· Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and pricing for products and services.

· Maintain and manage relationships with vendors, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to agreements.

· Collaborate with IT and other departments to assess and forecast technology requirements.

· Ensure compliance with organizational procurement policies and industry standards.

· Manage purchase orders, invoices, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.

· Monitor inventory levels of IT equipment and manage replenishment processes.

· Research and recommend cost-saving and value-enhancing procurement strategies.

· Assist in vendor performance evaluation and provide feedback to improve service delivery.

· Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and supplier developments to optimize procurement decisions.



Qualifications, skills, and abilities:

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

· 2+ years of experience in IT procurement or a similar role.

· Knowledge of IT hardware, software, and licensing models.

· Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with vendors and internal teams.
