Job Functions:

• Lead and manage the packaging team in developing primary, secondary and tertiary packaging.
• Oversee packaging projects from concept to launch, ensuring timeliness and budgets are met.
• Evaluate new packaging materials and technologies aligned with market trends and sustainability goals.
• Coordinate with R&D, QA, Procurement, Production and Marketing teams for product packaging alignment.
• Ensure that all packaging complies with Philippine FDA and ASEAN Cosmetic Directive standards.
• Conduct packaging compatibility, stability and line efficiency tests.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and artworks for approval.
• Source and liaise with local and international suppliers; participate in cost negotiations.
• Resolve packaging-related production or quality issues and implement improvements.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in packaging development within cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials (plastic, glass, laminates etc.) and manufacturing processes.
• Familiar with FDA regulations and ASEAN cosmetic directive (ACD) compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication and project management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
