We are looking for a motivated and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing/designing new electrical systems & MCC/PLC control system, researching systems ideas and drawing up plans, usually using a computer program. You are also responsible for developing system specifications and layouts, testing the system and making adjustments as needed.

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Use software programs to design and perfect new electrical systems.

2. Check the necessary specifications of all electrical materials and equipment as per project requirement.

3. Documenting specifications, schematics, and diagrams regarding the project/s.

4. Produce reports addressing project progress and other details for top management.

5. Testing new systems and making design changes if needed.

6. Producing necessary design reports and documentation.

7. Designing and laying out new electrical systems.

8. Addressing and resolving product issues thru the product phases.

9. Apply engineering knowledge and experience to improve products, services and processes.

10. Apply prescriptive requirements of electrical system and engineering codes.

11. Assisting the engineering department in problem-solving related to electrical engineering matters.

12. Maintaining a high quality of work, delivered on time, while meeting or exceeding client's expectations.

13. Performing design reviews of projects for accuracy, coordination, and constructability.

14. Understanding the general data flow and connection of components, manufacturer data, and schematics.

15. Electrical estimate and costing of project biddings and variation orders for the on-going project.

Requirements and qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Licensed Electrical Engineer.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience.

3. Knowledgeable in CAD software.

4. With expertise in electrical design and build.

5. With expertise in MCC with PLC control system.

6. With expertise in electrical calculations.

7. Has expertise in designing MCC panels with PLC control system.

8. Strong documentation skills.

9. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

10. Strong presentation skills.

11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

12. Attention to detail.
