Purchasing Assistant – Job Post
We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to help the Team obtain supplies at a fair price. In this role, you will contact vendors to acquire quotes for goods and services, process contracts and invoices, and communicate to ensure products are delivered within the designated timeframe. You will also be responsible for inputting all the items ordered and received into our inventory management system and making sure invoices are paid on time.
Responsibilities:
• Process all purchasing requests and purchase orders completely, accurately within the set timeline.
• Source and evaluate suppliers considering price, quality, delivery lead time and payment terms.
• Monitor purchase order status and follow up with supplier to ensure the timely delivery lead time.
• Closely coordinate with respective departments and suppliers for inquiries or requirements.
• Log all order receipts and confirmations
• Cross-reference product deliveries with purchase orders
• Collect and fulfill requests for office supplies
• Track and monitor purchases, from initial order to delivery and payment
• Prepare monthly reports listing all purchases, and related costs
• Process all administrative tasks connected with operational work of the team.
• Keep an updated list of suppliers for all purchasing requirements maintain good rapport with each.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Education: Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or any business related courses.
• Experience: Atleast 1-year experience in Purchasing role.
• Skills: Excellent in verbal and written communication skills, Strong analytical and problem-solving, strong organizational skills and decision-making, has time management, attention to detail and accuracy, ability to work independently and part of a team.
• Required Knowledge: Advanced / Microsoft excel skills, general business acumen.
• Willing to work in Cubao, Quezon City.
