Drake’s top client – an HVAC Manufacturer, is currently hiring a Senior Accountant to be part of their collaborative team in Paranaque City
Summary:
The Senior Accountant is a vital role in the financial reporting function within the organization. The role drives financial reliability in all reporting aspects of general accounting and financial analysis. The role also requires analytical and critical thinking, a sense of urgency in completing deliverables, and an ability to work at a fast pace. Time management, communication skills, and ability for cross function coordination is essential to deliver accurate financial data to management.

Responsibilities:
• Supports Financial Controller in financial management functions to include report generation and analysis on variances, order and revenue by vertical market, GM report, AOP reports, etc., to assess the financial health of the company.
• Lead the preparation of monthly account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with financial reporting standards.
• Determine standard costs, investigate variances, monitor project costs spending, and implement improved revenue cycle processes and procedures.
• Drive timely and accurate processing of transactional activities to be used in management decision making.
• Review policies / conduct regular policy assessments, identify areas for improvement and recommend actions to improve financial procedures.
• Support, manage and facilitate external/internal audit and tax statutory filing.
• Other ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
• A CPA with 7 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, Tax, and Compliance.
• Well-versed in tax laws, global policies, moral ethics, finance compliances, etc.
• With networks in BIR.
• Knowledge in financial operating system and proficient in MS Excel.
• Experience in creating and analyzing accounting, financial, and operational reports, financial planning, and analysis.
• Worked in the construction, supply chain, or similar industries.
• Able to solve complex problems. Integrates and interprets data from diverse sources to find solutions.
• Strong desire to challenge the status quo, develop new approaches, make continuous improvement, and inspire/encourage others to do the same to promote changes in terms of Strategy, Business Model, Organization, People, Process, Tools, etc., with the aim to stay competitive for sustainable growth.
• Strong professional knowledge and skill sets with agility to learn things fast, deal with ambiguity, open to feedback and go beyond boundaries.
• Set strategy and build capability foundations to deliver premier performance, including organization, people, and process by working on great details and engaging our employees with the clarity of accountability and responsibility.
