Responsibilities:
The Construction Administration Assistant is responsible to perform support activities both clerical and technical in nature as required to assist the Back-end office, PM and other site personnel on various construction projects.
Duties:
Filing – electronic and hard copy of reports, MRF, RFI and RFA
Track change orders, RFI’s and submittal packages
Follow up submitted RFI and RFA to principal Engr and Architects.
Prepare document, manuals information and updates needed for weekly meeting.
Set up meetings from suppliers, subcon, Project manager, site personnel and other who involve in the projects.
Coordinate daily activities update from site to head office.
Manage to set up and run video/phone conferences.
Gather complete information from major supplier, subcon, potential clients and other details for the projects.
Can make AutoCAD drawing and 3D models.
Prepare correspondence, presentations and/or reports to the superior
Detail oriented, meticulous, results driven, able to work semi-independently, ability to work well in a construction office environment.
Other activities which may from time to time be required
Qualifications:
At least 3yrs college in Civil Engineering and Architecture
Associate’s degree or more is desirable in construction or construction engineering related fields.
Familiarity with working in a technical environment
Minimum of 2 years related experience preferred in construction company.
Knowledgeable in using AUTO CAD and 3D model is an advantage.
Communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to enable clear and effective interaction with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company.
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to multi-task and work productively in a high-volume environment.
Familiarity with tools and materials used for construction
Familiarity with terms and stages of construction phases.
