A Data Analyst is a professional who collects, organizes and analyzes large sets of data to extract valuable insights and support data- driven decision making.  The hep businesses understand trends, patterns and correlations within their data, enabling them to make informed strategic and operational choices.

 Data Analyst plays a crucial role in transforming raw data into meaningful information, empowering organizations to make data-driven decisions that drive business growth and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and deliver effective analytical solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Looker reports and dashboards to visualize and present data insights.
  • Data Collection and Cleaning: Gathering and organizing data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and completeness.
  • Data Analysis: Applying statistical techniques and data mining methods to identify patterns, relationships, and trends in the data.
  • Data Interpretation: Interpreting the results of data analysis and translating them into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Data Validation and Quality Assurance: Verifying the accuracy and reliability of the data, performing data validation tests, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Analyze large datasets using SQL to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and generate reports to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data findings to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Looker for creating and managing reports and dashboards.
  • Expertise in MySQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets for data organization and collaboration.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and database design principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
