Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Trainer to focus on Sales Training and the development of Medical Review Specialist/Prior Authorization Training programs. This role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and delivering training initiatives that enhance the skills and knowledge of our sales team and medical review specialists. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales training and an in-depth understanding of prior authorization processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Training Needs Analysis:
    • Conduct thorough assessments to identify training needs related to sales strategies and medical review/prior authorization processes.
    • Collaborate with sales leaders and medical review teams to determine specific skill gaps and training requirements.
  • Program Design and Development:
    • Develop comprehensive training programs focused on sales techniques, customer relationship management, and prior authorization processes.
    • Create educational materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, and multimedia presentations, tailored to the needs of the sales team and medical review specialists.
  • Training Delivery:
    • Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, both in-person and via virtual platforms, focusing on sales effectiveness and efficient prior authorization processes.
    • Utilize various training methodologies and technologies to ensure effective learning outcomes.
    • Provide one-on-one coaching and support to sales representatives and medical review specialists as needed.
  • Evaluation and Improvement:
    • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, surveys, and performance metrics.
    • Continuously improve training content and delivery methods based on evaluation results and industry best practices.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and program evaluations.
    • Prepare reports on training outcomes and recommend improvements to management.
  • Collaboration and Support:
    • Work closely with the Sales and Medical Review departments to align training programs with organizational goals.
    • Support the onboarding process by providing training to new sales hires and medical review specialists.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing and delivering sales training programs.
  • Strong knowledge of sales strategies and techniques.
  • In-depth understanding of medical review and prior authorization processes.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency in using e-learning platforms and virtual training tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess training needs and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and other relevant software.
