JOB DETAILS:
  • Over-all In charge of the Accounting department, such as but not limited to financial and accounting principles, procedures and policies (accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, general ledger entries, bank reconciliation, credit card expense report reconciliation, cash applications, collections, and payroll), and initiate corrective action as needed.   
  • Responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial processing, month-end close, cash management reports, and balance sheet reconciliation. 
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, bank reports, and various detailed analysis reports 
  • Oversee the company’s transaction processing systems - that these are properly authorized and recorded as necessary to ensure the preparation of accurate financial reports that are in compliance with applicable standards and regulations and free from material misstatements. 
  • Analyze data and recommend changes, development on accounting process. 
  • Ensure that there is a system of internal audit and controls for the safeguard of company assets against loss from unauthorized use or disposition 
  • Review payroll taxes and ensure timely payment of payroll and corporate taxes by payroll service 
  • Recommend hiring, movement, disciplinary action, or termination of employees under the Finance and Accounting Department 
  • Examine financial and government-related documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles.  
  • Prepare National and Local Taxes, as needed 
  • Keep complete and accurate accounts of receipts and disbursement. 

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Educational Background:  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or any related  courses
  • Years of Related Experience:  With at least 5 years of relevant work experience  in construction industry

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES/SKILLS, AND ATTITUDE:
  • Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Ability to analyze financial datas
  • Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and reasoning abilities.
  • Possess well-developed interpersonal and communication, verbal, and written skills.
  • Must be result and profit oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations and perform multifaceted projects.
  • Must be highly motivated and have the ability to function independently and multi-task.
  • Must be very keen to detail.
  • Non-compromising work standards with a strong sense of urgency and sense of crisis;
  • High level of integrity and dependability.
  • Eagerness to learn continuously, accepts correction and constructive criticism positively.
  • Can thrive under pressure.
  • Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality.
