Specification Officer

Join our team as a Specification Officer, where you'll collaborate closely with the Specification Manager to deliver compelling product presentations to our clients. Your role is pivotal in driving sales growth, fostering client relationships, and ensuring our products meet the needs of diverse projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Specification Manager in crafting and delivering engaging product presentations to clients.
- Recommend strategies to enhance sales opportunities, diversify product offerings, and achieve departmental targets.
- Identify and engage prospective clients, initiating constructive discussions with their technical teams to promote the adoption of our products.
- Evaluate client technical requirements, offering tailored recommendations on the suitability of our products.
- Research and validate product selections to address specific project needs and concerns.
- Collaborate with client project teams to develop accurate specifications aligned with project requirements.
- Ensure consistency between product specifications and intended usage, ensuring optimal efficacy.
- Provide ongoing technical support to client project teams, ensuring consistent product utilization and desired outcomes.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including Architects, Consultants, Project Owners, and Contractors, to expand product exposure.
- Support training seminars and participate in trade shows to showcase our products and engage with industry professionals.
- Ensure all recommended products have comprehensive supporting documentation for client approval.
- Assist in on-site product applications and prepare technical reports to validate product acceptance.
- Organize samples and materials for display at exhibits, ensuring presentation readiness and client appeal.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture (4 years).
- Proficient in construction products and materials.
- Strong sales and marketing skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a construction company preferred.
- Available to start immediately.
