Solution Architect - Testing Systems

Opportunity:

We are looking for a Solution Architect - Testing Systems to join our team in Manila. As a Solution Architect - Testing Systems, your role involves analyzing and assessing business processes and system landscapes, designing and optimizing testing systems, and coordinating technical implementations. It requires identifying dependencies, selecting new technologies strategically, and transferring knowledge on current and future technologies. Additionally, the role includes conducting feasibility analyses, implementing proof-of-concepts, and guiding teams during development and deployment.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct demand analysis and assessment of business processes and the system landscape.
  2. Draft, design, and plan the optimization of our Testing systems and the respective integration.
  3. Design new or incrementally improve existing applications.
  4. Coordinate technical implementation in Testing systems projects.
  5. Identify dependencies between system, infrastructure, and projects towards competing demands.
  6. Select new technologies strategically according to the business architecture.
  7. Provide transfer of knowledge on current/future technologies and conduct cost/benefit analysis of tools.
  8. Review the state-of-the-art awareness of information technology strategies by attending technical sessions and developing a network of industry contacts.
  9. Conduct demand and feasibility analysis and implement proof-of-concepts.
  10. Implement proposed solutions and technically guide extended teams during development and deployment.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or similar qualifications with relevant work experience (preferably in IT, Engineering).
  2. Experience in documentation and development of acceptance criteria and demand analysis.
  3. Profound skills in modeling of distributed software architecture (methods, design patterns, visualization, and documentation).
  4. Deeper knowledge of agile software development and project life cycles.
  5. Experience with technologies such as Github, Cloud, Agile, Low-Code, AI/ML is a plus.
  6. Experience with coding and development using Java is desired but not required.
  7. Familiarity with database technologies like Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server.
  8. Knowledge of ETL tools like Talend, Hadoop, etc., is a major advantage.
