We're currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Vice President, Finance Solutions Senior Analyst - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Finance Solutions Senior Analyst - C12) based in Citi Plaza, Taguig City, Philippines.

The Finance Reporting Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for developing, maintaining business requirements and controls of regulatory reporting data hub (RDH)'s data lifecycle, data lineage, data quality scorecards and visualizations.

Working closely with reporting owners and production team, to tracking and submission of data quality issues in coordination with the Finance Team.

The overall objective of this role is to ensure data governance, data risk and control adherence to Citi policies and standards. Ensure data accuracy in financial reporting and statements in accordance with U.S. and local regulatory reporting guidelines.

In this role, you're expected to:

  1. Assist with developing and implementing a comprehensive data governance that aligns with organization and regulatory requirements.
  2. Support the data analysis and accuracy impact submission of reports to various constituencies (SEC, Fed, OCC, local regulators etc.) based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting.
  3. Analyze, investigate and present data usage and quality issues to stakeholders.
  4. Assist with translating regulatory reporting requirements into business specifications.
  5. Establish business requirement documents, review test scripts, and interact with business partners to ensure successful migrations of key technology releases.
  6. Review and update data hub procedure manuals on a regular basis.
  7. Participate in special projects on continuous improvements on data cycle and data hub within the business team.
  8. Identify and resolve problems using basic Finance knowledge, escalating as needed.
  9. Assist with the implementation of workflow or process change and redesign.
  10. Assist in the management of one or more RDH processes, reports, procedures, or products.

As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  1. 5-7 years of previous experience required.
  2. Structured Query Language (SQL) and Python are required.
  3. Experience in data analytics, data models, dashboards, and performance metrics preferred.
  4. Financial System experience preferred.
  5. Experience with Transformation Tools such as Tableau, Power BI, KNIME or similar.
  6. Basic knowledge of accounting, finance and regulatory reporting preferred.
  7. Project Management Skills preferred.
  8. Critical thinker, self-motivated and detail oriented.
  9. Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  10. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree/University degree in Finance, financial engineering, Math or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
