About the role
Gothong Southern is a leading domestic shipping and logistics provider in the Philippines, committed to delivering reliable, efficient, and customer-focused freight solutions. This role involves driving freight revenue growth through client acquisition, retention, and account expansion, managing the end-to-end freight cycle from booking to delivery or container withdrawal.
Key responsibilities
- Drive freight revenue growth through client acquisition, retention, and account expansion
- Manage the end-to-end freight cycle from booking to delivery or container withdrawal
- Prepare and present competitive quotations, with timely follow-ups to secure bookings
- Process and complete Shipper's Agreement Forms (SAF) for clients requesting credit terms
- Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Operations, Land Transport, Finance, and Data teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Support Finance in resolving Accounts Receivable (A/R) issues, especially overdue accounts
- Actively acquire new clients (minimum of 4 new accounts per month)
- Conduct regular client visits to strengthen relationships and generate repeat business
- Provide market intelligence including customer feedback and competitor insights to management
About you
- Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field
- At least 5 years of sales experience (any industry)
- Minimum 2 years in supply chain or logistics sales
- Proven track record in corporate/B2B sales
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
