Job Summary

The TikTok Content Strategist will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement on TikTok and other assigned social media platforms. This role focuses on creating compelling content, analyzing performance data, and staying ahead of trends to maximize the effectiveness of the company's social media presence. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive content that aligns with brand goals and resonates with the target audience.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a content strategy tailored to TikTok's platform to enhance brand awareness and drive user engagement.
  2. Align content strategies with overall marketing & sales campaigns and other initiatives.

B. Content Creation & Management:

  1. Personally develop, create, and edit engaging content that aligns with the brand's voice and objectives.
  2. Collaborate with internal content creators, multimedia artists, and videographers to produce high-quality, trend-relevant videos.
  3. Oversee the production and scheduling of TikTok content to maintain a consistent posting schedule.
  4. Ensure content is creative, engaging, and aligned with the brand's voice and goals.

C. Trend Analysis & Adaptation:

  1. Stay updated with trends, hashtags, challenges, and platform updates to incorporate into the content strategy.
  2. Identify opportunities to capitalize on trending topics and challenges that align with the brand.

D. Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  1. Monitor and analyze content performance using TikTok analytics and other reporting tools.
  2. Provide regular performance reports and insights to optimize content strategies.
  3. Adjust content plans based on insights and data-driven results.
  4. Work closely with the marketing & sales team, designers, and other stakeholders to align content with broader campaigns.

E. Community Engagement:

  1. Engage with the TikTok community by responding to comments, messages, and participating in discussions to build relationships and foster brand loyalty.

F. Violation Management & Appeals:

  1. Handle the process of appealing TikTok violations acquired by the account, ensuring compliance with platform policies.
  2. Communicate effectively with TikTok's support team to resolve any content-related issues and maintain account standing.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience in TikTok content creation or social media strategy.
  2. Understanding of TikTok's algorithms, trends, and best practices.
  3. Creative thinker with the ability to conceptualize unique, engaging video content.
  4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  5. Experience with video editing tools.
  6. Data analysis skills to interpret metrics and improve content strategies is an advantage.
  7. Passion for social media, with a strong pulse on the latest trends and shifts.
