<p>ACLU is seeking a Regional Campaign Strategist, State Campaigns to join our National Political Advocacy Department.</p>
<h3>About the Role</h3>
<p>These positions are three‑year term‑limited, fully‑remote (United States), and will support our bipartisan campaign and advocacy work across key civil liberties issues such as Reproductive Freedom, Democracy and Voting Rights, Systemic Equality, Immigration, Trans Justice, and Criminal Justice.</p>
<h3>What You’ll Do</h3>
<ul>
<li>Contribute to campaign planning, including helping develop goals, tactics, and plans to achieve outcomes on specific issue areas.</li>
<li>Execute and embed into priority affiliate legislative or advocacy campaigns.</li>
<li>Plan, design, and facilitate in‑person and virtual meetings and events in priority jurisdictions and in partnership with ACLU affiliates.</li>
<li>Develop strong affiliate relationships and utilize a variety of campaign tactics and tools.</li>
<li>Coordinate with other stakeholders, affiliate staff, and national staff, including policy staff within NPAD.</li>
<li>With Regional Lead–level staff, develop campaign goals, plans, strategies, tactics, and budgets to serve the organization’s policy outcomes.</li>
<li>Track program progress to goal and metrics through standardized reporting.</li>
<li>Demonstrate flexibility in adjusting priorities based on the changing external environment.</li>
<li>Engage in special projects and other duties as assigned.</li>
<li>Maintain flexibility in work schedule and location, including the ability to travel nationally and work non‑traditional hours.</li>

<h3>What You’ll Bring</h3>
<ul>
<li>Substantive experience designing campaign strategy and executing campaign plans and tactics.</li>
<li>Experience with issue advocacy and/or electoral campaigning at the federal, state, or local levels, including campaign management experience.</li>
<li>Experience working in and navigating coalition spaces.</li>
<li>Experience with events production, logistics and/or project management. Comfort with policy, including an ability to efficiently and effectively weave policy objectives into campaign execution.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, simultaneously handling many tasks; working efficiently, meeting multiple deadlines while remaining composed under pressure.</li>
<li>Excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. Excellence in analyzing complex concepts and presenting clear recommendations.</li>
<li>Strong independent work ethic and team collaboration skills.</li>
<li>Access to a major airport and the ability to travel substantially.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Compensation</h3>
<p>The annual salary for this position is $137,206 (Level F), reflecting the salary of a position based in New†York, NY. Salaries are subject to a regional pay adjustment if authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.</p>
