Job Description
Job Summary:
Lead the service team to deliver seamless, disciplined, and guest-focused dining experiences for US Military personnel. This role requires a hands‑on leader who values teamwork, enforces service discipline, and ensures strict adherence to operational standards while maintaining professionalism in all situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily front‑of‑house operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and professional food service.
- Lead and motivate the service team, including line staff, to consistently meet US Military service standards.
- Monitor meal lines, traffic flow, and portion control to maintain consistency and efficiency.
- Enforce discipline, hygiene, dress codes, and behavior standards in accordance with military and company SOPs.
- Coordinate closely with the Kitchen Manager and kitchen team to align timing and readiness of meal services.
- Conduct daily service briefings, shift handovers, and reporting activities.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during service, including temperature holding and allergen labeling.
- Provide ongoing training and mentorship to service staff to improve team performance.
- Support site‑wide coordination efforts and client walkthroughs, addressing feedback professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and readiness of all service equipment and dining areas.
Requirements:
- Experience supervising front‑of‑house or institutional service teams (military catering experience preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a focus on discipline, professionalism, and service excellence.
- Ability to work effectively under structured systems and adapt to mission‑driven schedules.
- Strong commitment to following established protocols without compromise.
- Proficiency in English communication (both spoken and written).
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally for work assignments.
- Team‑oriented mindset with high accountability and operational discipline.
