Your Role:

As a Senior Full Stack Developer / SDET, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing innovative software solutions while ensuring top-notch quality through automated testing. You will be expected to leverage your expertise in full-stack development and testing to guide client projects from start to finish, while also leading and mentoring junior engineers. Your responsibilities will involve working with modern technologies and cloud environments, and continuously improving our software delivery processes to ensure that we meet the highest standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Problem Ownership: Take full ownership of complex technical challenges and solutions, working autonomously with a proactive mindset to deliver high-quality software.
  • Full Stack Development: Develop and implement features using a diverse range of programming languages and technologies, collaborating closely with other developers.
  • Test Automation: Write and maintain automated tests, using test-driven development (TDD) practices to ensure software quality and minimize future technical debt.
  • Continuous Delivery: Set up and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to accelerate the delivery of software while maintaining a high level of stability and performance.
  • Client Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, recommending the best technical solutions based on their business needs and goals.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor junior developers both within Fabric and within client teams, helping them develop their skills while promoting best practices in software development and testing.
  • Technical Evangelism: Lead by example, advocating for best practices in coding, testing, and software architecture. Contribute to meetups, write thought leadership content, and promote Fabric's technical values both internally and externally.
  • Agile Practices: Embrace Agile methodologies to manage your work efficiently, ensuring smooth project execution and continuous improvement.

What You Bring to the Role:

  • Strong experience with implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices, using modern tools to automate workflows and streamline deployments.
  • Proficient in applying TDD practices to your development work, ensuring robust, maintainable, and scalable software.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Azure, including their services and integration with software systems.
  • Experience with Docker, Terraform, and ideally Kubernetes to facilitate containerization, infrastructure as code, and scalable cloud deployments.
  • Experience working within Agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban, and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the project.
  • Ability to switch between different technologies and work on diverse projects, wearing multiple hats as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with API Gateway products like Kong is a bonus.
  • Experienced in automation APT testing
