What can you expect in a "Senior Manager, Identity and Access Management (IAM) - Architect" role with TaskUs:

As a Senior Manager, Identity and Access Management (IAM) - Architect, you will play a critical role in defining the identity and access management strategy, developing security controls, and implementing tools that protect our company's assets and data. You will work closely with other security teams, IT and business units, to provide security enhancement.

The role requires a combination of technical expertise in IAM technologies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provides advanced architecture and engineering support to automate and administrator identity and compliance requirements into all enterprise information systems.
  2. Drives planning and execution of identity management security controls and technology enhancements.
  3. Creates and maintains standards surrounding documentation related to identity processes, procedure and infrastructure.
  4. Assesses current applications and architecture to ensure current implementations align with industry guidelines, best practices and management approved standards.
  5. Architects plan for implementing management's directives in most secure manners with least disruption.
  6. Lead the IAM Engineers.
  7. Assists various IT departments with design, implementation and troubleshooting of security technologies. Provide security guidance and requirements to technology teams when no solution is currently available.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. At least 7 years proven experience in Identity and Access Management software/solutions in a large enterprise environment.
  2. In-depth knowledge of IAM concepts, principles, and technologies, including but not limited to:
  • Identity lifecycle management
  • IDP
  • IGA
  • Single sign-on (SSO)
  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
  • Role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Privileged access management (PAM)
Hands-on experience with IAM solutions such as Okta, Azure Active Directory, Ping Identity, or similar platforms.Strong understanding of network security, encryption techniques, and authentication protocols (e.g., LDAP, SAML, OAuth).Proficiency with various operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS.Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.Experience with server hardware and software, including virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).Basic knowledge of database systems and their administration (e.g., SQL, MySQL, Oracle).Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems to identify security risks and design effective solutions.Experience with scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell) for automation and customization of IAM processes.Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education / Certifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in IT Security, Computer Science, or equivalent.

Work Location / Work Schedule / Travel:

  1. Mostly Work-from-Home but must be willing to report onsite if needed.
  2. Shifting may occur if needed.
