Title: Environment, Health and Safety Specialist

Job Summary:

The Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist will facilitate the implementation of safety and environmental policies and procedures, including other systems that enhance the safety and environmental performance of the organization.

  • Inspect and manage safety appliances (fire extinguishers, emergency lights, exit signs) regularly.
  • Conduct regular safety and environmental audits and facilitate their closure.
  • Assist in monitoring the progress of EHS programs.
  • Facilitate the conduct of the EHS Training Calendar as scheduled.
  • Conduct Basic Safety Orientation and Contractors Orientation.
  • Arrange other training sessions as needed by the organization.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions on accidents, incidents, audit findings, and observations.
  • Attend to the needs and requirements of the ERT.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • Must hold a licensed Chemical or Mechanical Engineer license.
  • Strong background in environmental and safety regulations, risk management, and emergency response.
  • Good knowledge of DENR and DOLE permit processes.
  • Certified Pollution Control Officer (PCO3) and/or Safety Officer (SO3) are required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in food manufacturing; relevant experience in other industries is also encouraged.
  • Willing to be assigned in Danao, Cebu (Full Onsite).
