Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Manager located in Davao. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role also involves financial planning and controlling, risk management, and working closely with other departments to achieve the company's financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Management

• Ensures Organizations' financial stability and profitability through regular review of P&L;
• Performs, along with the President, the functions of providing feedback on the Financial Status and Management to support the Company's achievement of its business objectives;
• Coordinates and works hand-in-hand with other Managers/Heads in ensuring accurate business Financial Statements documentations/reports;
• Ensures and facilitates compliance to business requirements and payment policies;
• Performs work schedules as prescribed by the CEO/President;
• Executes financial consultant functions in conducting financial simulations on current business initiatives to determine impacts on business profitability;
• Conducts analysis of the business financial statements and provides recommendations to improve operational efficiencies and financial stability;
• Implements initiatives that address any existing or probable business gaps in terms of Finance and Control;
• Ensures and monitors regular implementation of periodic Business Review to support business capability development;
• Addresses Business concerns and issues on financial performance results as well as the implementation of current initiatives as prescribed by the CEO/President/Management;
• Coordinates with other Department Heads/Managers to enhance the competencies of Business Operations Management in developing financial judgment to ensure safeguards of effective use of resources.

Financial Reporting and Budget Implementation

• Ensures accurate reporting of financial entries across all functions and raises concerns in cases of discrepancies;
• Coordinates with the CEO/President and other Department Heads/Managers in developing effective budget to support efficient business operations;
• Coordinates with the other Department Heads/Managers and the President in providing regular updates on financial status and provides action plans to address issues.

People Management

• Facilitates regular/continuous review and coaching of team performance against objectives and competencies;
• Facilitates identification of development needs and opportunities of team and ensures appropriate actions are taken to address these;
• Conducts regular formal appraisal and assessment of team in line with the existing Companies guidelines.

Key Competencies / Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge of functional roles in the organization;
• Understanding of Marketing objectives, strategies, and action plans;
• Understanding of competitive trade and Industry structures;
• Knowledge of issues on trade concentration & managing modern trade.

Qualifications

• Strong Financial Reporting and Analysis skills;
• Experience in Budget Management and Financial Planning;
• Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management;
• Proficiency in Financial Software and Tools;
• Excellent Analytical and Problem-solving skills;
• Strong Leadership and Team Collaboration skills;
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field;
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
